Super Food Energy Balls

So I discovered these little Energy Balls on youtube and in several healthy cookbooks and immediately when I first cooked them I fell in love. They are highly nutritious and super delicious and very easy to cook. They are perfect before or after workouts because they give extra energy or when you are sugar craving because they contain no processed sugars. They are gluten free and vegan!

For my lovely Super Food Energy Balls I used:

  • 1 Cup of Almonds
  • 1 Cup of Dates
  • 1 Banana
  • 3 TS Cocoa Powder (unprocessed)
  • 1/2 Cup of Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup of Flax Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup of Chia Seed


Just put everything into a strong Food Processor and mix it until its a sticky mixture. You will need to adjust the recipe depending on how your mixture is reacting. You may add additional almonds, dates…

When its a sticky mixture, slightly wet you hands and roll the mixture into small balls! After doing that you can put them into the freezer for an 1h to rest and afterwards you can store them in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

This recipe is seriously one of my best discoveries. Its so healthy and super delicious! Have a try – you won’t regret it!
