New Years Resolutions 2016

New Years Resolutions 2016

Happy New Year Everyone !!!!!!!!!

I wish you all a lovely and happy New Year! This has been the first year EVER I did not celebrate in Switzerland because we were visiting beautiful London! Loved it so much – London is amazing!!!

We have been eating, sightseeing and celebrating so much I am really looking forward to a few quieter days! I just wanted to share my 2016 New Years Eve resolutions – please comment – I want to know what yours are :)!

  1. Have another go at the FODMAPs DIET!!! As some of you may have read I really suffer from a lot of different food allergies and since eating is my passion, getting through any diet is really hard for me! However I often feel so bad after eating this is really one thing I have to conquer this year!
  2. Have another go at Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide Workout! Honestly I have been trying this before but its just a really tough workout. Litterally 5-6 Workouts a week is just a lot – even for a exercise enthusiast like me 🙂 I will restart the Program on Monday the 4th and try to finish it this time! (3 freaking Month by the way 🙂 ) I will try to make weekly updates on Twitter and Instagram If you are interested on how I am doing! Would love it if you would join me!!!
  3. Keep on doing my favorite thing in the world Blogging and posting new and delicious recipes!!!! The upcoming month are going to be very crazy and stressful but also very cool. I will need to hand in my Master Thesis in February and there is still lots of writing to do! I will start a new Job (Yey so exited!) in April and I will keep on trying to post as much as I can because you guys make me so happy 🙂
  4. Being more aware and telling myself more often how perfect and blessed my life is! There are just moments when you feel so tired, unlucky, sad or when just everything seem too hard handle! However I feel like people in developed and rich countries (like me) often forget that there is still so much wrong in the world! People starving – not having enough food! Children and adults dying off illnesses due to no access to medical help! Millions of refugees having to leave their homes, families and friends due to war or natural catastrophes!!! I am healthy, in love with an amazing man :), well educated, able to travel the world and most importantly having a real chance of fulfilling my dreams in life!

So these are my 2016 New Year Resolutions – please let me know what you think and what your goals  and plans are for 2016?

xoxo Katie

Happy New Year Katie. I hope 2016 will be a good one for you. Your resolutions are amazing. You have seriously thought about them and I am sure you will manage them.
It is weird, but for me, it is like I need like a daily reminder to fulfill my new plans or resolutions, until they become ‘normal’.
Thanks so much for the Fodmap List. I battle with stomach issues and found your Fodmap List really informative and helpful. I too, have to be more diligent in my food choices this year. I need to plan more and stick to my plans. I do need to include more exercise into my day. And, just appreciate Life.

Happy New Year to you as well!

I love your New Year’s resolutions – especially the last one!
I think we all forget so easily how blessed we are, because we just get used to all the good things so fast. So it makes sense to stop for a minute and reflect on what is good in your life from time to time. And by that, be able to appreciate especially the little things in life again.

I also try to do that with the help of my blog.
    A Hopeful Wanderer

P.S: My resolution is to read more books again because I think it is something you cannot do enough 🙂
