Valentines Day and Easter are around the corner and I really got exited about spring lately enjoying the beautiful sunny and longer getting days.
These beautiful and ultra delicious Blondies (Brwonies but with white chocolate) are just so amazing and I felt like I they would make great gifts if you are still looking for something for Valentines Day (I always feel homemade stuff is just so much more thoughtful that just old boring chocolates) and because they are blonde I feel like they work better for spring :). They are crunchy on the outside and super moist on the inside and I don’t know why but the combination white chocolate and pecan nuts is just amazing! So for my delicious Blondies I used (preheat oven to 180°) :
- 250g Butter
- 200g White Chocolate
- 150g Pecan Nuts
- 145g plain Flour
- 1TS Baking Powder
- 350g caster Sugar
- 4 Eggs
Melt the butter and the chocolate in a pan (best over steaming water) until its really smooth. During that time mix together the flour, the baking powder, the eggs and the sugar and then pour the hot butter chocolate mix into the bowl on top. Add the pecan nuts (chopped) and fill it up into a brownie form (I used ruffly a 30cm form). Bake for 30 min or until you feel they are ready (I quite like them really liquid in the middle but thats kind of your individual choice).
