This recipe is just simple and beautiful. Brownies are one of my favorite Desserts – perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon or as a highlight after a delicious dinner!
For my “Classic Brownies” you need:
- 400g dark Chocolate
- 250g Butter
- 350g Sugar (I used 250g of regular granular sugar and 100g of Mascobado Sugar which is very moist and my favorite sugar ever!)
- 6 Eggs
- 150g plain Flour
- Hand full of Nuts
- (100g White Chocolate)
Preheat your oven to 180° beforehand and then start the Brownies by melting the butter and HALF the chocolate in a pan on a very low heat. Keep stirring until both is completely melted and mixed together perfectly. Take it of the heat and let the mixture cool for a bit. While this cools add the sugar, the flour and the eggs together in a separate large bowl using the kitchen machine. Then slowly add the chocolate mixture while stirring. Smash the rest of the chocolate into small pieces and add them as well as the nuts to the finished mixture. Fill it into baking tray (ruffly 20×30 cm) and bake for 35-45 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a bit, while melting the white chocolate in a pan on a very low heat. Then sprinkle the white chocolate over the Brownies and let it cool! And this is it 🙂
These Brownies are just lovely and moist which in my opinion is the key to Brownies – so please try them and let me know what you think! I would love to read you comments!
your Katie! xoxo
