Blog Setup for Beginners – 8 Simple Steps
Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Click on “Get Started”
👉 Click Here to get started – Get Blog Hosting + a FREE Domain
Step 2: Choose your hosting plan. The $2.49 plan is completely fine so press “Choose Plan”
Step 3: Now enter your preferred domain name (the URL you want for your blog). If you already have one choose “I want to use a domain I already own”. Then press “Search For Domain”. If it is available you will be redirected to the next plage.
Step 4: This is an overview. You can deselect the “Domain Privacy + Protection” however I do recommend it so your personal data is secured and can’t be accessed. Then press “CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT”.
Step 5: Now fill in your “Contact Information,” and “Your Account Informatio,n” and “Billing Information” – Then Press “SUBMIT PAYMENT”
Step 6: Wait 5-10 minutes until Bluehost has installed WordPress.org for you in the backend. Then press “LOG IN TO WORDPRESS”
Step 7: Click the link “Build it myself” and then you’ll be redirected to the WordPress.org dashboard which is your blogging plattform
Step 8: You’re blog is officially set up. Start blogging by creating new posts in the “POST” section and customizing your site under the “APPEARANCE” section. Happy blogging !

Starting with content can feel daunting—but remember, you don’t need tons of posts to begin. Even one post is enough to launch. Consistency matters more than quantity, so pick a manageable schedule like once a week or even once a month.
Focus your content on topics that are:

Ask yourself:
