Ready to learn about Pinterest pin design for beginners? Today, I’m sharing all my secrets to growing a successful Pinterest account for your business.
What is Pinterest Pin Design, and how can it help my business?
Pinterest is a visual discovery engine that people use to find ideas for their projects and interests. More than just a social networking site, Pinterest is a powerful tool that businesses can use to drive traffic to their website and increase sales.
One of the most important things for businesses to understand about Pinterest is that it is a search engine. This means that people use it to find ideas and products, just like they would use Google or Bing. This is why it’s so important for businesses to make sure their pins are well-designed and keyword-rich.
When a business creates a pin, they should think about what someone would search for if they were looking for that product or idea. They should also make sure the pin is visually appealing and easy to understand. A well-designed pin will stand out from the rest, and it will be more likely to be seen and shared by users.

How to use Free Stock in your Pin Design
What are stock photos:
Stock photos are photos that are taken by people who are skilled n photography and they share their photos to stock platforms. You can then go and search for an image on these platforms and download the image. You don’t have to ask for permission to use the photo you can simply use it.
Normally you’re not allowed to just copy and paste a photo from the internet and use it in your pin. It is because the person who took the photos has the copyright and ownership over the photos. So you can’t just take the image without permission this would be like stealing something just online.
Free stock does not have a copyright on it and you can use it in your pins. This is the same if we are talking about stock images or stock videos.
Why Use Stock Photos in Your Pins
Alright, and why are stock images important. Well, if you’re a food blogger, an influencer, or, for example, a fashion blogger, you want to take your photos because people want to see your style, your recipes, and what your up to every day.
But there are many cases where you might be in an educational industry like I am, for example, in marketing, or you’re a business and just need a pin that leads to your business. In all those cases, you don’t need to take your photos, but you may not have the money to pay someone to take photos specifically for you. So why are stock photos important.
Save Money
Stock Photos are free. You can download and use them; you do not have to ask or pay someone to do a photoshoot or create website illustrations.
Time Save
Second, you’re going to save so much freaking time. I mean, taking your own images can be something beautiful and part of what makes your blog amazing and stand out against your competition. But in some niches, it just does not make sense to spend hours taking pictures. You need pictures to support your points, but it’s not like your images are front and center of what you’re trying to communicate.
Professional Images
Stock images also look super professional. I don’t know about you, but it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to be a blogger or online biz owner. You have to wear a million hats. Now taking beautiful photography is an art; it takes skills, practice, and knowledge. And you may not be willing to make that time and money investment. Then stock images are going to be your best friend.
Fresh Pins
Pinterest wants us to create a lot of new pins. This means creating new pins for new content but also pins for older content. But Pinterest does not like when you post the same pin image repeatedly, leading to the same URL. Pinterest whats you to create new images, so-called fresh pins. Now imagine how fast you will make new fresh pins when you can use stock images. Instead of taking your own photos from all angles, you can use different people’s work. It’s so amazing.
